ASSOCHAM in collaboration of Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES) is organising a one-day National Seminar Essential Labour Reforms without Tears. The objective of the seminar is to discuss the essential changes required in labour laws. Even the HonТble Prime Minister has observed on few occasions that the Labour Reforms need to take place at the earliest. However, the Government has not been able to bring any significant changes in Labour Laws due to political compulsions. We in, ASSOCHAM have felt that though wholesale changes in Labour Laws may not be possible but it could be possible to bring consensus on some minimum essential changes required in labour laws to improve efficiency and productivity with the support of all the stakeholders. The panellists are extremely knowledgeable and experienced persons whose presentations will be add value to the deliberations of this National Seminar.
